The Menaphos VIP area mine is located within the VIP skilling area in Menaphos Imperial district. It is unlocked and accessible at Tier 7 overall reputation. Attempting to go through the VIP archway before reaching the required reputation makes a VIP area guard stop the player and say: "Where do you think you're going? You're not allowed in here!". There is a bank chest within the VIP skilling area.
Certain items and creatures required for the Menaphos journal can be discovered while mining here: the menaphite honey bee in amber, pygmy giant scarab in amber, crondite, umesco arpos and phenakite. Phenakite may only be found while mining in the VIP area mine.
