The Witchaven excavations are a set of rooms deep in the Witchaven Dungeon. They are used in the Kennith's Concerns quest. They contain 12 rubium veins spread across two rooms, which can be used during and after the quest. After completing the quest, leaving a room will immediately respawn all the rubium veins therein. Logging out inside the mine will take you back to the entrance to Witchaven Dungeon.

Getting there

edit

To get to the mine, first enter the Witchaven Dungeon. Proceed through the small opening in the wall found east of the staircase at which you arrive. Navigate the long, winding tunnel by using the agility shortcut or simply walking through it. After you climb over some rocks near the end, you'll see an Entrance along the eastern wall. This is the entrance to the mine. If you see a bed, you've gone too far south and should head back north.

Trivia

edit
  • Even though the player passes through multiple rooms in the maze-like excavations, the rooms are actually physically stacked on top of each other in the same location on the in game map. For example, each of the three maze rooms is stacked on top of each other, with the first room being on the bottom of the stack, the second in the middle, and the third being on top. Similarly, for the smaller rooms in-between, the first room is on the bottom, the second in the middle, and the third on top.
