The Golden Palace, also known as Jalkabir, is located in the Imperial district of Menaphos, west of the town centre. Sceptre of the gods offers teleportation to the front gate of the Golden Palace.

Facilities[edit | edit source]

Throne Room[edit | edit source]

The Menaphos Throne room is located inside of the Golden Palace. It can be accessed through a door found on the eastern side of the pyramid, up the stairs behind Commander Akhomet if the player has completed the quest 'Phite Club.

It is the room in which the Pharaoh resided prior to the quest.

The contents of the room, in terms of decoration, are identical to when the previous Pharaoh ruled over Menaphos, but there are now several Menaphite citizens within the throne room. They are: Selma, Bes, Eshe, Acenath, Sergeant Wadjmos, three unnamed Menaphite citizens, two Menaphite Royal Guards, and Pharaoh Osman, Chosen of Tumeken. The named citizens and guards can be spoken to, but the unnamed citizens and Osman can not be reached. Talking to any of the citizens causes them to protest against the actions of Osman, the Pharaoh. The southern guard will say a humorous line about drygore maces and their Prayer bonus, while the other guard will tell the player to join the mob if they want to talk to Osman.

Entering the throne room for the first time will complete the Path System objective "Who's the king?".
