Charitable is a perk in Invention that has a chance to make an extra item appear on the ground where a random nearby player is standing whenever you successfully collect a resource using the skill corresponding to the tool that the perk is installed on. The item is initially only visible to the receiving player. It triggers with a 1% chance per rank, and gives the same item as was gathered. It can be created in normal and ancient tool gizmos.
When giving items to other players with Charitable, it gives the following filterable message: Your charitable perk caused an item to appear at [player]'s feet. When receiving an item from another player using the perk, it gives the following message: [Player]'s charitable perk caused an item to appear at your feet: [Item].
Items can appear for players through this perk even if they're not training the skill used to trigger it. The perk can trigger at least for players up to four game squares away from the player who has the perk equipped. It is unknown if the recipient of the item needs to have any Accept Aid categories active.
When mining, this perk only applies to core ores.
When training Archaeology, the perk can trigger on materials and soil.
Charitable may trigger when attacking the core of Croesus, granting one of the teammates a Croesus flake.
