Dragon Slayer is an Invention perk that increases damage dealt to dragons by 7%. It can be created in weapon and armour gizmos.
Even though living wyverns can be considered dragons, they are not affected by the Dragon Slayer perk. However, skeletal wyverns are affected by it. Nodon dragonkin are also affected by the perk. The perk does not have any effect on Anagami, Arhat, or revenant dragons.
The Dragon Slayer perk is an excellent option when augmenting equipment for medium- to high-level Slayer training. It is most useful on ranged armour (for chromatic, celestial, rune, and gemstone dragons) and magic armour (for metal dragons and skeletal wyverns); frost dragons are the only dragons that are weak to melee.
The damage increase from the Dragon Slayer perk affects damage over time abilities that have a bleed effect i.e. Dismember, Combust, etc.

- Icons were added to the combat target interface for NPCs indicating whether they are affected by the Demon, Dragon or Undead Slayer perks (if the attacker has the relevant perk equipped).
- patch 22 February 2016 (Update):
- The Dragon, Demon and Undead Slayer perks now provide +7% damage, up from +2%.
