The 'Exsanguinate' spell scroll (loaned) is a version of the 'Exsanguinate' spell scroll that can be used to activate the blood button in the Chapel of Kharid-et. It is loaned to the player by Dr Nabanik during The Vault of Shadows quest if the player has not done so.

If the player used this item, then a restored scroll must be returned to Dr Nabanik to receive the XP reward from the Vault of Shadows mystery.

Dr Nabanik will not loan the player the scrolls if the required Archaeology level (107) is reached. You will have to excavate them instead.

Trivia

• Attempting to cast the spell causes the player to read "Sanguine infirmitatem!", which is Latin for "blood weakness".
