The shadow engrammeter is a device obtained during The Vault of Shadows mystery. After solving the vault's four puzzles, the player finds a depleted shadow engrammeter in the vault and must recharge it using 500 Divination memories (vibrant or better). The recharged engrammeter can then be operated in the vault to get Trindine's memory.
After solving the mystery, the player can recharge the shadow engrammeter. Upon using it again in the vault, it will say "You've already recovered this memory and had it transcribed".
This information has been compiled as part of the update history project. Some updates may not be included - see here for how to help out!
- patch 22 June 2020 (Update):
- Players can now reclaim charged shadow engrammeters from Dr Nabanik at Kharid-et if they don't have any depleted shadow engrammeters as well.
- The destroy text was changed from "If you destroy this, you can claim a depleted replacement from Dr Nabanik at Kharid-et Dig Site's base camp."
