Keshik (or kheshig) were the imperial guard of Mongol royalty in the Mongol Empire. It is Mongolian for "favoured" or "blessed".
Gers (more commonly known as yurts) are round, portable tents commonly used by nomadic cultures in Central Asia. "Ger" (гэр) is Mongolian for "home".
