Orthen rubble is an excavation hotspot located in the Orthen - Nodon hibernatorium excavation site, inside the north-eastern ruins of Anachronia. Level 90 Archaeology and the completion of Desperate Measures is required to excavate at this location.

The hotspots initially appear as soil, requiring uncovering before becoming usable. Uncovering the hotspots yields a one-time reward of 314 Archaeology experience.

The hotspots act similarly as the variant during the quest; once a damaged ceremonial dragonkin tablet has been excavated, the hotspots become unusable unless the artefact is lost before contributing it.
