The blood ethereal body is part of the blood ethereal outfit. It was possible to obtain the blood ethereal body from Treasure Hunter on 17 October 2014, and from 19 October 2014 to 20 October 2014. It can also be created from 3,600 rune ethereal fragments with level 80 Runecrafting and 20 Invention.

It can be traded, but only for other rune ethereal outfit pieces.

When the full set is worn, it has the following effects:

Gives the ability to move between areas in the Runespan without rune cost, although you must still meet the skill requirement for a given type of platform.
5% chance to double your runes when siphoning in the Runespan, giving twice as much experience. The double runes won't count towards daily challenges.
25% chance for your runecrafting pouches to not degrade while filling them. This is applied for each piece of essence added, so on average 75% of the usual durability is used when filling a pouch.
The body can store six rune essence, pure essence, or impure essence.
Uses master runecrafter robes' experience boost if owned, even while the set is in the backpack, bank, player-owned house, keepsaked, or in Diango's holiday item and outfit retrieval interface^[1]. However, the player must have equipped the master runecrafter robes at least once in order to receive this benefit.
The head acts as a wicked hood if owned.
The legs work as the Morytania legs 2 if owned when creating blood runes at the blood altar, and Morytania legs 3 in saving blood altar teleport tablets.
The body and legs grant a weight-reducing effect when worn, -9.5 kg and -7.5 kg, respectively.

^ It does work if the robes are equipped at least once before storing it at Diango, but the effect gets reset on logout.

Pieces of the infinity ethereal outfit can be used as replacements for the set until the full infinity ethereal outfit has been combined.
