Manifestation of Erethdor

Manifestations of Erethdor are encountered during the fight with Solak, in the final phase. They spawn within his mind and attempt to reclaim control over Solak by destroying what remains of his conscience. If they are successful in doing so, the whole team is instantly killed. They can be stopped by entering Solak's mind via the Extra Action button and attacking them, which will draw their aggression to the player. The player must then fend off their strong magic attacks using defensive abilities and heal Solak's conscience.

One manifestation spawns after every certain period of time, and an additional manifestation spawns when Solak has taken a certain amount of damage that scales with the amount of players fighting him.[1]

They use an Onslaught-like attack which increases in strength the longer they persist. If killed, they respawn in the physical world and begin attacking players there in a manner similar to blightbound lashers.

If a player's familiar manages to draw the aggression of a manifestation, the manifestation uses magic abilities to attack the familiar instead of their regular attack.

  • update 2 March 2020 (Update):
    • Manifestations of Erethdor will spawn in the physical world regardless of team size when killed in the mind realm. Previously, this only occurred in 7-man encounters, as they would not respawn in duo encounters.
