Chain is a basic Magic ability. When activated the player casts a spell that hits the primary target and 2 other nearby targets within a 6 square radius for 20-100% of active spell damage. It can hit secondary targets beyond your normal attack range, but cannot hit secondary targets you cannot see (straight line-of-sight required).
Ricochet is the Ranged equivalent of Chain. However, Ricochet goes on to hit other targets when the first hit misses, while Chain does not.
The Caroming perk will increase the number of targets Chain can hit.
