An augmented Death guard is the augmented version of the tier 90 death guard. It can be made by using an augmentor on the unaugmented death guard, or by upgrading an augmented tier 80 death guard. It can hold one weapon gizmo or ancient weapon gizmo, and retains all the benefits of the unaugmented guard.

This item uses charges stored in the universal charge pack. When the charge pack runs out of charges, the item loses stats and gizmo effects and can no longer gain any equipment experience. Full functionality will resume when the pack is recharged with divine charges.

Special attack

[edit | edit source]
The death guard's special attack, Death Grasp.

Death Grasp is the special attack of the tier 70 and higher death guards. It costs 25% adrenaline and has a cooldown of 30 seconds, shown in a debuff. It stuns and binds the target for 4.8 seconds, dealing 405%-495% Necromancy damage. It also deals an additional 40% Necromancy damage for each Necrosis stack, consuming all of them. At 12 Necrosis stacks, the special attack deals up to 885%–975% Necromancy damage.

In PvP, damage is only 40% effective.
