The augmented Devourer's Guard is the augmented version of the Devourer's Guard. It can hold one weapon gizmo, and retains all the benefits of the unaugmented guard.

This item uses charges stored in the universal charge pack. When the charge pack runs out of charges, the item loses stats and gizmo effects and can no longer gain any equipment experience. Full functionality will resume when the pack is recharged with divine charges.

Special attack

[edit | edit source]
The Devourer's Guard's special attack, Soul Crush

Soul Crush is the special attack of the Devourer's Guard. It costs 25% adrenaline and has a 1 minute cooldown. It deals 135%–165% Necromancy damage to the target, increasing by 135%-165% for each Residual Soul stack, consuming them all. In addition, it immediately readies Soul Reave, which allows the Necromancy basic attack to generate a Residual Soul stack. Lastly, for 30 seconds, the following abilities also ready Soul Reave: Soul Sap, Soul Strike, Volley of Souls, and Spectral Scythe.

Soul Crush sound effect

Soul Crush damage
Residual souls Damage Average
0 135%–165% 150%
1 270%–330% 300%
2 405%–495% 450%
3 540%–660% 600%
4 675%–825% 750%
5 810%–990% 900%

Passive effect

[edit | edit source]
Soul Reave activating.

The Devourer's Guard has a passive effect called Soul Reave where each Necromancy basic attack generates 1 Soul Reave stack. Upon reaching 4 stacks, the next basic attack is empowered and generates one Residual Soul stack.

The Residual Souls are given on-hit so hitting multiple targets (e.g. with Threads of Fate) will give multiple souls.
