A surfboard shield token is an item that can be won from a summer piñata loot bag, received upon destroying a summer loot piñata, or through various stores on the beach, depending on the year.

It can be activated to unlock the Beach Surfboard Shield override. Once the override has been unlocked, confirming the activation prompt causes the token to be saved.
