Trivia

Newton was designed by the player JackScape for the Combat Pets Competition.^[1]
Newton's conversation about being hit on the head with an apple is a reference to the apocryphal tale of Sir Isaac Newton theorising the existence of gravity when an apple fell on his head. Their examine text also references the theory. This is a pun towards the pet being a newt.
When used as an override for a combat familiar, Newton has an attack animation where he throws their orb forwards. The orb will then expand and disappear.
He has a roommate called Inspiration, who hits them with apples.
Their eye was stolen by Aggie, so they had it replaced by a mind rune.
This is one of the few skilling pets with consistent sound effects. Newton emits a high-pitched hissing that can also be heard by all surrounding players.
