# Gordie pet

The Gordie pet is an item that can be found while training Dungeoneering. It can be inspected to unlock the Gordie pet.

It is unlocked by completing a dungeon floor or during an elite dungeon. Gaining this pet is based on the amount of experience awarded at once; the more experience granted per floor, the greater the chance of gaining this pet. The chance is not affected by experience boosters. Unlocking resource dungeons does not give a chance of unlocking this item. When a player obtains the pet in Daemonheim, they receive the following message: While skilling, you find Gordie, the Dungeoneering pet. However, as you are in Daemonheim, it has been sent to your bank.

When a player obtains the pet in an elite dungeon, they instead receive one of the following messages.

While skilling, you find Gordie, the Dungeoneering pet. It has been added to your inventory.

While skilling, you find Gordie, the Dungoneering pet. However, you do not have enough inventory space, so it has been sent to your bank.

When inspecting it, it is destroyed and the following message is shown: "Congratulations! You have unlocked the pet: Gordie"

In a purely mathematical format your chance ${\displaystyle f}$ of receiving the pet on any particular action is

${\displaystyle f={\frac {B\times S}{1,250,000,000\times P}}}$

Where:

• ${\displaystyle B}$ is the base experience per action
• ${\displaystyle P}$ is the party size
• ${\displaystyle S}$ is the virtual skill level. At 200 million experience, a flat bonus of 200 is applied to this value
