Map

A cave can be found south of the bank in Burgh de Rott. Players can enter it through a cave entrance after starting The Branches of Darkmeyer. Players can find a coffin in the cave, which can be searched for the mysterious medallion. During the quest, the medallion is upgraded to Drakan's medallion, which provides teleports around Morytania. Afterwards, players can recharge their medallions at the pool in the cave as well.

Players can also find the decaying tome and a letter to Safalaan in the cave.

According to Cornelius, the entrance to the cave had been recently dug up by a shadowy figure, which is later revealed to be Vanescula Drakan.^[1]^[2] At some point, the cave used to be inhabited.^[3]
