A tree stump is the scenery object that is left over when a tree is cut down.

It will stay on the ground until the tree respawns. There is a unique stump for every kind of tree. If the tree is player-grown, a spade can be used on the stump to retrieve tree roots. For stumps in tree patches, a Hydra scroll (Regrowth) can be used to quickly regrow the tree, so long as the player has a hydra summoned.

An evergreen Tree Stump remains in the Christmas tree farm after the wonky tree has been transferred to Yeti Town during the Violet is Blue Too quest.

Some tree stumps appear as static scenery and never grow back into trees.
