Snow implings appeared during the 2013 Christmas event south of the Grand Exchange, in Varrock Square and in Falador to advertise Santa Claus's fair in Lumbridge crater. They also offer teleports to the crater.

They are also found after thawing a frozen snow impling after the Violet is Blue quest.
