Luminata is a resident of Burgh de Rott, a small town in southern Morytania.

She disappears after The Branches of Darkmeyer the day after Emilia goes missing, causing both Amelia and Veliaf to note that loads of people are vanishing from Burgh De Rott. A missing person poster then appears on the western wall of the Burgh De Rott shop, which reads "Missing: Luminata - last seen eating a rat."
