This article is about the human. For the reindeer pet from Solomon's General Store, see Rory the reindeer.

Rory is a child in Burgh de Rott who, along with Amelia, retell what happens in the Myreque quest series. He is part of a small group of NPCs that retell the story of past quests which also includes, Bard Roberts and the Stanky Penguins, Ali the Wise, Gwir and Khoochak.

He stands just south of the gate arguing with Amelia. Like most citizens of the area his clothes are ripped, he has only one shoe and he has some injuries. He has pale skin which is unlike the adults of the village who have a more green skin tone.

If the player tries to claim to be the hero of the stories they are telling, Rory will claim that is impossible as the character isn't tall or strong enough.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Amelia and Rory are references to the popular Doctor Who series, due to their names and the fact that Rory says "Bow ties are cool" when he tells you about the story with the skeletal hellhounds.
  • After The Branches of Darkmeyer, Rory and Amelia act as if Vanstrom Klause is still alive.
  • When Amelia says "My mum says if you don't have a bath you turn into a vampyre." he replies "That's just to scare you." which is in reference to tales parents tell children in order to get them to do things.
  • The line "Myres before Vyres" references the common urban slang "Bros before hoes."
