Polmafi Ferdygris is a scholar of The Myreque, working directly under one of the lieutenants, Veliaf Hurtz as a kind of advisor. He is also one of the 5 remaining members of the Mort Myre division of the Myreque, after Sani Piliu and Harold Evans are killed during In Search of the Myreque. Polmafi Ferygris also states how Veliaf reports to Calsidiu, who is believed to be the true leader of the Myreque.

Polmafi seems to be a middle-aged man wearing plain green and blue clothing. He acts as more of a tactician or planner for the Myreque, rather than a field agent. He resides, along with the rest of the Mort Myre order, in the basement of Burgh De Rott's dilapidated inn.

Polmafi assists in carrying out an assassination attempt on Drakan, which fails. He is later freed by the player and assists the group in solving the various vampiric seals found throughout Castle Drakan. When the remaining survivors fight Drakan himself, he assists them by calibrating the tower's machines to reopen the portal to bring them back to Gielinor. He escapes along with the player, Safalaan, Ivan and Veliaf, but is knocked back into Vampyrium when Drakan bursts from the portal. His fate thereafter is unknown.

In In Memory of the Myreque, a statue is built in his honour and he is presumed to be dead. It is revealed that before joining the Myreque, Polmafi was foremost a scholar and historian.

A hallucination of his severed head appears in River of Blood, alongside the other deceased or missing members of the Myreque. The hallucination claims to be the "new Lord of Vampyrium", and that he will go hunting next week.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • He is the only member of the Drakan assassination team whose ultimate fate is unknown.
  • His last name is probably a reference to Verdigris, a green color of weathered copper.
