Gold medals were made by using two gold nuggets on the forge at Gielinor Games preparation. Seven of them could be handed in to Oomad Arrow every day in return for contribution points and Smithing experience.

Players could make more than seven each day, but all would be taken when handing them in. They cannot be dropped or banked.

The Smithing experience was rewarded when handing them in rather than when making them.
