Mutated fungal spores is one of the possible skilling node cores that may spawn during the Croesus boss fight when a hero statue is prayed at. It must be interacted with using the Hunter skill to deal damage to Croesus.
When white or green particles appear on it, the core can be clicked to earn additional contribution points. Clicking on it when red particles appear will heal Croesus.
