The spirit measure is given to the player by Aris during Dimension of Disaster: Demon Slayer to locate the guardians of silverlight:

• Spirit of the Body
• Spirit of Faith
• Spirit of the Mind

When scanning with the spirit measure, it will tell you what direction the signal is strongest in. As the player gets closer to one of the spirits, "Woo!"s will appear in the chatbox, with more "Woo!"s meaning the player is closer.
