Circular hides are dropped by ranged Dagannoths located in the Waterbirth Island Dungeon and within the Chaos tunnels.

They can be used to create a spined helm by taking a circular hide, a dagannoth hide and 5,000 coins to Sigli the Huntsman in Rellekka. This can only be done after completing The Fremennik Trials.

Trivia

• If you look closely at the icon of the circular hide, you will notice some shadows. These seem to be a Dagannoth's spikes on its back, which means that most hides dropped from Dagannoths tend to be from its back.
