Mosquito swarms are monsters fought during the Tai Bwo Wannai Cleanup minigame. Utilising a weapon of a crushing attack style is the most efficient way to kill them. When killed, they give a small amount of Agility experience. They have the possibility of giving a significant monetary value in proboscides in just one battle, making them a very good moneymaking monster. Unfortunately, the player can only find them by chance when they are hacking through the jungle in the minigame.

When they appear, they would only attack with melee with a max hit of 1. They would switch to ranged with their normal max hit if they cannot reach their target, or if they lose interest and then were attacked by a player again.

They have a right-click "Spray" option that allows you to spray them with insect repellent, weakening them.

The level 92 version visually consists of 3 mosquitoes and always drops 3 proboscises and 35 Agility experience, while the level 95 version consists of 5 and always drops 5 proboscises and 75 Agility experience.
