Divine carpet dust is an effect that occurs when the player has acquired 330,000 overall Menaphos reputation and has a magic carpet summoned.

While training a skill, a wisp of divine carpet dust will appear next to the player every five minutes, following the previous one's spawn, and lasts for up to a minute before disappearing. Siphoning it grants experience in the skill that the player was training when it appeared. If the Chronicle Attraction curse or Spirit attraction potion is active when the wisp spawns, the wisp will be automatically harvested.

When a wisp appears, a message says:

Your carpet has caused remnants of knowledge to be billowed into being!

and after harvesting the wisp:

You breathe in the carpet dust and gain [XP] experience in [Skill].

Experience

Siphoning divine carpet dust awards 5% of a small experience lamp's experience. This is not affected by any kind of bonus experience or experience-boosting sets. Therefore, at level 99 in a skill, the player could gain 5,160 additional experience an hour from divine carpet dust.

Experience from improved divine carpet dust

Completion of the Eclipse of the Heart quest increases experience gained.

Siphoning improved divine carpet dust awards 10% of a medium experience lamp's experience. This is not affected by any kind of bonus experience or experience-boosting sets. Therefore, at level 99 in a skill, the player could gain 20,640 additional experience an hour from divine carpet dust.
