Coins are found in Rashiliya's tomb, in the Shilo Village quest. Attempting to pick up the coins will cause four undead ones to spawn, accompanied by the following message:

As soon as you touch the coins you hear the grinding sound of bones against stone as you see skeletons and zombies rising up out of the ground. The coins turn to dust in your hands.

The coins will not disappear from the floor, but they cannot be attempted to be picked up.

Trivia

[edit | edit source]
  • In their original implementation in RuneScape Classic, the coins are just regular Coins. However, when picked up they produced the same messages about the grinding of stones still seen in modern RuneScape, then spawning three undead ones and three level 21 skeletons. Attempting to pick them up a second time, the player may obtain 10 gold pieces, even though the messaging still says "The coins turn to dust in your hand...".
