Ormod's scribblings are found inside Gulvas Mansion during the Broken Home quest. It contains what looks like a diary entry made by Ormod, the previous owner of the house featured in the quest. After reading them, the player obtains a scroll fragment.

Maybe it is madness. But madness is nothing but a curse. As illness is an infirmity of the body, so madness is an infirmity of the mind.
In my long experience with mages and runes I have learned that any physical ailment can be alleviated with the right magic.
If it is so for the body, then why not for the mind? Why not indeed?
And so my clients have developed a spell for me, but it is incomplete!
It needs something more. Some missing piece of knowledge that neither they nor I possess.
Useless! I tear it to pieces!
