A ferret is an item that can be hunted with a box trap in the Piscatoris Hunter area. They are located at the northwest base of Eagles' Peak. Ferrets are used to hunt white rabbits in the Piscatoris Hunter area. Completing the Eagles' Peak quest and a Hunter level of 27 is required to hunt ferrets. They also appear in the Ardougne Zoo after completion of Eagles' Peak.

There is a small chance of a ferret escaping from the player once caught, forcing the player to catch another one to continue hunting rabbits.
