A spare arrow shaft is a quest item that can be found after searching the arrow shafts in the quest-specific instance of Shifting Tombs during Pharaoh's Folly. It can be combined with feathers to create a feathered spare arrow shaft used in the process of escaping the tomb. Once obtained in the backpack, it can not be destroyed (except by leaving the tomb); attempting to do so yields the message: I should hold on to this. I might need it.
