Trainee Guards are aspiring members of Varrock Guard training on combat dummies at the top of Varrock Palace. They are being trained by the Guard Captain, who can be found marching around and shouting at the guards so they are more disciplined. They cannot be interacted with. During the Defender of Varrock quest they are attacked and killed by armoured zombies.
