The strange flower sprouts appear around the Zamorakian farmer during the Surprising Seedlings event during Wilderness Flash Events
They are grown from seedlings after the players nurture them. After a moment, they grow into poisonous hollyhock, Wilderness iris, and Wilderness rose bushes, the latter two of which can be harvested to obtain flowers to be handed in the to the Zamorakian farmer. The poisonous hollyhock should be dug out to make space for new seedlings as attempting to harvest it only causes a heavy poison hit against the player.
