This guide assumes that 2500 potions are mixed per hour. It is possible to obtain rates of up to 2800 potions per hour by using a beast of burden such as a pack yak along with bank presets to optimise time spent potion making. This will require a higher intensity in order to manage both inventories.
It is recommended to use your own portable wells on a world which you have a good connection to as the benefits outweigh the costs in most cases. Buying portable wells will cost 172,668 per hour. The cost can be avoided by using wells placed by other players.
Prayer potion (3) sells for 3,962 and a Prayer potion (4) sells for 5,278. Currently it's best to sell as Prayer potion (3).
