A perfect dog's dinner is a quest item during Princess and the Pauper. It is created by seasoning an unseasoned dog's dinner with finest doogle leaves, forming Rodney's 'Princess special' dish. Attempting to eat it during the quest causes Princess to exclaim "Not yours!"

If this item is destroyed before serving it to the stray dog, it will be possible to claim an extra from Rodney. If this happens, the player will instead note in dialogue with the stray dog that "Perhaps Rodney has some spare dog food I could use to convince him...".
