As the definition says above, a signature's main purpose is to state someone's name in a unique way. The RuneScape Wiki allows users to customise their signatures and make them unique to their user and stylise them to an extent. But, the usefulness and efficiency of community discussions should not be affected by over-formatted signatures. A signature is not an extension of a userpage.
