Loot (heists)

Loot is the basis of the rewards system during heists. At the start of the heist, stolen goods is placed in the inventory. Loot points are gained as players progress through the heist, and can be lost by getting caught by a guard or trap. The thieving master cape reduces the amount of loot lost by getting caught. Logging out during the heist resets all progress and deletes all loot.

At the end of a successful heist, the stolen goods bag is removed and players receive rewards based on the amount of loot accumulated. This reward consists of both Thieving experience and item drops, with one roll for item drops per 25 loot. Fractions of a roll are expressed as a chance to get an additional roll; for example exiting with 35 points awards 1 reward roll and a 10/25 chance to get a second. At the end of a failed heist (leaving without looting the rare chest), rewards are halved per loot point for both experience and item drops.

Vault of Hereditas

[edit | edit source]

However, stolen goods can hold a maximum of 500 loot at a time. At the end of a successful heist, 400 Thieving experience is awarded per loot.

In the Asuran Arsenal, players can accumulate a maximum of 625 loot, but the stolen goods can only hold up to 500 at any time. At the end of a successful heist, 450 Thieving experience is awarded per loot.
