Freeze Frame is an achievement that requires the player to defeat Vorago without Vorago moving and without anyone moving during the 'Vitalis' stage.

Strategy

Vorago's Vitalis attack happens in phase 3 in normal mode when the rotation is Vitalis. In hard mode it is phase 5 for all rotations.

This achievement requires that the players do not move at all, and that Vorago also does not move. Players should stand in a position such that they are adjacent to Vorago when he spawns. Standing under Vorago's spawn area will force the player out, which fails the achievement, and standing too far away can cause the Vitalis minions to block line of sight if they move between the player and Vorago, which will force movement and fail the achievement. Vorago may also move when he attempts a melee attack if his target is not in melee distance, which fails the achievement.

By default all players are eligible for this achievement, and it is only once any player moves for any reason (after Vorago spawns) that the message You have failed: Freeze Frame appears and the achievement is no longer awarded.

Achievement Set

Completing this achievement in a Hard Mode Vorago instance is one of the requirements for the Vorago (HM) (perfect) grandmaster achievement.
