Zodi-yak Track is an event which allows players to earn rewards by completing tasks, which started on 23 March 2020 and ended on 3 May 2020. It featured two prize tracks, free and premium, the latter of which gave a larger number of prizes. Players could unlock the premium track by having an active Premier Club membership or by buying a Premier Pass using two bonds.

Tasks[edit | edit source]

Players can complete either task to progress to the next tier. Task requirements are based on the player's level in the task skill, as well as if they are free-to-play or pay-to-play. Free-to-play players only have the options of free-to-play skills as tasks, whilst members have a mixture of free-to-play and members skills. New to the Zodi-yak Track are joint tasks; these tasks show two skills in a single task choice, and actions from either skill will progress the task.

Players can skip tiers by using task skips. Everyone initially has two task skip tokens (independent of unused skips from a previous yak track), and more can be purchased with bonds via the store.

Despite the task wording saying 'and above', not all items that require a higher level than the one listed are eligible to complete the tasks. All eligible items could be found by selecting the 'info' button next to the task in the Yak Track Task List.

Pay-to-play[edit | edit source]

The following table uses requirements (both the amount, and item required) as based on a maxed player. For non-maxed, and further item details, see the requirements section below. Not all people will have the same tasks.

Update history[edit | edit source]

The update history project is a work-in-progress – not all updates to this topic may be covered below. See here for how to help out!
  • hotfix 30 March 2020 (Update):
    • Players can now hand in eggs to Benedict regardless of how much of Benedict's World Tour has been completed.
    • Players can no longer open the Yak Track interface while the First Time User Experience is still active via the Task List or Sir Yaktrick Moore, as doing so caused an issue where blank tasks were displayed on the interface.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The task "Hey, I'm talkin' here!" is a reference to the famous line "I'm walkin' here!" from the 1969 film Midnight Cowboy.
  • The task "You talking to me?" is a reference to the famous line "You talkin' to me?" from the 1976 film Taxi Driver.
  • The task "All the lights in the sky are stars" is a reference to the Gurren Lagann film Gurren Lagann The Movie: The Lights in the Sky are Stars, which is supported by Simon's dialogue during the task.
  • The task "Benedict's Eggs" is a reference to the dish eggs Benedict. Evidently eggs Benedict cannot be made with pekin eggs, as Benedict will not accept them for this task.
  • The task "Dude, Where's My Yak?" is a reference to the film Dude, Where's My Car?.
  • The task "Fool assisted king run" is a reference to tool-assisted speedruns.
