The XP Capacitor 5000 is an Invention device that, when fully charged, acts like bonus experience for Invention items. To create it, players need to discover 'XP Capacitor' blueprint. Players will be able to fill the XP capacitor while training with augmented items. Whenever an item gains item experience, 50% of it is stored in the capacitor instead. An XP Capacitor 5000 (charged) is tradeable and will grant a player using it double item experience until the capacitor is empty. One charge equals one item experience. Items that have already reached the maximum amount of item experience (1,000,000 Item XP) will not deplete charges from a charged capacitor, but can be used to fill a charging capacitor at the same rate as if it had not reached the maximum amount of Item XP.
The XP Capacitor 5000 can hold a maximum of 100,000 charges and is only tradeable in its charged state. Once there are any charges used from the Capacitor it becomes untradeable and will go into its used state. Once all of the charges have been used, the XP Capacitor 5000 breaks down and is lost.
Given the price of junk refiners, assuming historic and classic components are obtained from small crates, and assuming clear parts are obtained from unpowered orbs, the cost of a single XP Capacitor 5000 at level 120 Invention is currently 915,558. This means that charging and selling capacitors can earn a profit of 1,782,862 per capacitor.
XP capacitors that are either charging or used will be lost on death.
