Steps

A mark on the wall.

• The mystery is uncovered when you study your first strange writing. You are only able to see the writings once you are wearing the complete master archaeologist's outfit, requiring the Guildmaster qualification to obtain.
• Study all five writings to unlock a new special research mission for each.
  • Kharid-et - In the solitary confinement section of the prison block.
  • Infernal Source - In the Dungeon of Disorder.
  • Everlight - In the underwater cave.
  • Stormguard Citadel - By the Research & Development north-west excavation site.
  • Warforge - In Thalmund's Forge.
• Complete all five special research missions.
• Study all five strange writings again.
