A Fremennik wolf hunter is the NPC with whom players could begin the Winter event since 2011, a members-only Holiday event that took place in the Fremennik Province, in which the players were asked to slay the fearsome Hati Wolf of Fremennik mythology.

The wolf hunter was implemented in order to give players who have not crossed White Wolf Mountain and entered Rellekka the ability to do the event. In addition, he also served as a quick and free teleport to Rellekka. He grew increasingly frustrated when his guidance was used repeatedly until after ten teleports he refused to offer the teleport anymore, and told the player to walk to Rellekka instead. Unlike most people unfamiliar with Hati, he seemed rather enthusiastic about the hunt.
