Witch outfit can no longer be obtained in RuneScape after an update but still exists in-game for those who had done so.
A female player wearing a Witch costume

The witch outfit was a holiday reward received from the 2008 Hallowe'en event. This set can only be worn by female players. When worn on a male character it turns into a warlock outfit.

The full set includes:

The set is obtained after players have given some sweets (popcorn balls, wrapped candy, and chocolate drops) to Maggie, the travelling witch. She gives players one item per sweet type.

If a player loses a costume item (through any means) they can retrieve it for free by accessing Diango's holiday item and outfit retrieval.

Update history[edit | edit source]

The update history project is a work-in-progress – not all updates to this topic may be covered below. See here for how to help out!
  • patch 8 March 2011 (Update):
    • Female witch outfits no longer stretch when leaning forward.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • When first released, the male version of this set couldn't be stored in a player-owned house. Male characters had to change to female to store the set. This was fixed after a few months.
  • Using Low or High Level Alchemy on the items returns a few more gold pieces than most other untradeable holiday reward items.
  • Maggie wears the same top and skirt, but with a different colour scheme.
