Slot main hand (has off-hand variants)
Style Crush
Average (3.6s)

The warhammer is a type of one-handed melee weapon that employs the crush style of attack. It offers high attack damage, at a cost of a slower speed. Warhammers are identical in terms of damage to their slashing counterpart, the battleaxe.

The dragon warhammer was released along with the Birthright of the Dwarves quest on 2 October 2013.

Players can buy a variety of warhammers from Vigr's Warhammers in Keldagrim West.

Warhammers are an uncommon sight among most players, even in F2P worlds, as they are seen as inferior weapons by most players, who choose either faster weapons such as the scimitar or mace, or more powerful weapons such as the Two-handed sword.
