Do you have any old computers you played RuneScape on?

Hi Salix!

Recently we've been trying to recover lost versions of RuneScape that Jagex didn't save. We're asking anybody who played from 2001-2012 to check old computers, laptops, hard drives, or backups for old RuneScape files.

Your userpage says you've been playing since 2005, so it's very likely that you have one of the missing versions. It would be great if you could search any old devices you may have so that these older versions of RuneScape aren't lost forever.

Hey mild update

Just wanted to say that "Lost Her Marbles" only needs 30 fragments and not 32 XD I spent like an hour thinking I needed more and wasn't getting any more to drop after 30 XD till I decided to just try and see if it was enough, and was able to complete the quest! 2601:681:5901:F700:DFBB:5B41:F1B4:9815 15:53, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

PoF page inconsistencies

Hey there, Salix. I was noticing that some PoF critters (like Common brown rabbit) have one page for item/NPC and another page for the unchecked item, which matches the 2018 decision made here: Forum:Player-owned farm animal pages

Other pages (like Crimson chinchompa) never got the unchecked item split out into its own page. Do you know if there's a reason those weren't split into separate pages? Or is it a case of no one got around to it?

Any reason why someone shouldn't go ahead and split those out now?

I happened to come across this when looking for pages with interacting switch infoboxes. The list of PoF animals I found that are not split can be found here: User:Strauburn/Pages with switch infobox issues#PoF animals

Update: It looks like pages actually were created for the unchecked items (e.g. Crimson chinchompa (unchecked)), but the unchecked item info was just never removed or linked to from the main pages (e.g. Crimson chinchompa).

So I guess the real question now is: Any reason why someone shouldn't go ahead and delete the unchecked item info from the main PoF animal pages and link to the corresponding unchecked item pages instead?
