Amulet of Glory Trivia[edit source]
I have removed the trivia you added to the article Amulet of glory, as the source you gave held no proof. Ruud (talk)(Suggest me naems) 14:37, March 10, 2010 (UTC)
:Tip.it, is not one to follow for a trusted source, as it is written by a fansite. Only quotes made by Jagex should be followed, and as I can't see any statement made by them about this bug, I don't believe that the paragraph of writing should be included in an article, as an article is supposed to contain, useful, knowledgeable information. Blanking your talk page[edit source]
Hello Rabbit Fear/archive 1, we have a policy of not deleting discussions here, so if you would like to have a clear talk page, then you may archive it. To archive a talk page, simply create a page titled User talk:Rabbit Fear/archive 1/archive 1 (be sure to include a link to your archive on your talk page) and move the contents of your talk page there. 19:17, March 11, 2010 (UTC)
I'm not sure whether you know how Wikis work, but for obvious reasons, you cannot misrepresent someone by changing what they say without their permission. Furthermore, regardless of whose talkpage it is, if you edit on this Wiki, you are subject to our policies, including RuneScape:Don't delete discussions. Just because you are using your talkpage as a medium to communicate with you does not give you any right to delete comments. If you continually troll other users as well as persistently delete comments from your talkpage without archiving them, then I will have no choice but to give you a temporary block. Thank you. C.ChiamTalk 06:48, March 12, 2010 (UTC)
:For practical reasons. If you had a discussion with someone and subsequently deleted all your comments, the discussion would no longer make any sense at all. If you really have a problem with our policies, please feel free to raise your concerns on the Yew Grove. C.ChiamTalk 05:51, March 14, 2010 (UTC)
CVU report[edit source]
Regarding your CVU report for Risk Wizard, both of you may receive a block if you continue the edit war (see RuneScape:Three-revert rule). I suggest that you leave a message on his talkpage and talk it out rather than continue editing the page. C.ChiamTalk 05:27, March 15, 2010 (UTC)
:What? I think you're misunderstanding my intentions. I don't want to block you, and I'm certainly not taking any sides here. I'm glad you sorted it out yourself. Just keep in mind that I was only responding to your CVU report and nothing else. Cheers. C.ChiamTalk 05:42, March 15, 2010 (UTC)
::Yes, you did risk getting a block, that statement was meant to inform you in case you didn't realise that you were about to violate RS:3RR. However, it seemed to me that you thought I had some sort of feud with you, so I was clarifying that it is not my intention to get you blocked, much less have any sort of feud with you. Amulet of Glory[edit source]
I haven't logged on to wiki in a while, but I saw your message and it took me 5 minutes to remember what you were talking about; anyway:
"Tens of thousands of glories were duped by Tainted Ones turning him into a billionaire and causing the prices of glories to go from 100k to 50k in a matter of weeks (they have not recovered since)."
Aside from referring to your own source incorrectly, it would make absolutely no sense for an item with a sudden spike in supply and equal demand to increase in price. And the glory is also about 60k, which hasn't recovered since the drop. Now considering the entire section in Trivia has been removed, this reply is useless, aside from satisfying my own ego. http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/runescape/images/3/33/Crimson_charm.gif Its Alex Pan 03:09, April 13, 2010 (UTC)

help me[edit source]
I'm trying to replace a .gif image with a .jpg image but it won't let me and it's an unprotected file. just to let you know, this wiki prefers .png's over .jpg's. here's a way to fix your issue. download the .gif image to your computer. use an image-editing program like photoshop to make the image hd.--99 i fail 18:37, December 28, 2010 (UTC)
Recent edits[edit source]
Hello. Regarding your recent edits to 200 million experience, I removed the trivia point "It's possible that Jagex picked the level cap of 120 for Dungeoneering (as opposed to a number like 115 or 130) because it is the closest number divisible by ten under the 200 million experience cap. Level 130 would require 280,681,209 experience, which is well over 200 million experience." because it was a weak deduction and was somewhat illogical, as following that logic, 100 and 110 would be possible level caps as well. However, you re-added the trivia point, stating "It says its possible they may of chosen it for that reason and its under trivia so i see no reason why it should be removed". Just to clarify, just because it is in the trivia section, does not mean that any remote possibility can be added, it has to be worthy of inclusion. They are dozens of possibilities for why they may have chosen 120 to be the level cap, but we are not adding every single one possible, we only add those that have particular strong pieces of evidence to back it up. Hence, the trivia point should be removed. At the same time though, I would like to mention your recent edit to File:Gardener Gunnhild.gif. In the future, please be more respectful to other editors even if you disagree with their edits. Thank you. C.ChiamTalk 14:49, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
:There isn't such a thing as "full high detail", it is either SD or HD. I wasn't taking the template too literally, it is only for standard-detail images. I suggest you take a closer look at the template as it is for "This screenshot or animation was taken either before the graphics update or in standard detail mode." Because it is currently in the wrong category, I will be changing it back to the original template, but please do not revert my edit again without further discussion. In any case, I was not pointing out the mistake itself, I was referring to your edit summary. As I've mentioned, please be more respectful to other editors and refrain from insulting them in all situations. As for trivia, it is not meant to be a place for speculation and is taken as seriously as the rest of the article. C.ChiamTalk 08:43, May 20, 2010 (UTC)
::Rabbit Fear, please try to keep on discussion, thanks. First of all, the image wasn't taken by me, it was taken by User:Evil yanks. The SD template is specifically for images taken in standard detail or before the graphics update on July 2008. That image was taken after the graphics update and in the high detail mode, hence it qualifies as being HD. The gudeline you created where all the image has to be at full HD capacity is yours alone, and is not the policy's (which was set by the community). When I requested that you do not revert my edit, it was only to maintain the status quo (which was the image having the obsolete template and not the sd template) and to prevent edit-warring, it was not related to RS:AEAE at all. I do not care if you are suspicious of users or sysops, so be it, but make such an insult in the edit summary, and I will not hesitate to block you. Thank you. C.ChiamTalk 12:29, May 20, 2010 (UTC)
:::At this point, you seem to be bending the truth a little bit. Right here, you did not just say that it was obviously not HD, you said "Stupid ip wrong template". If you really think that we are abusing our tools, do feel free to create a topic on the Yew Grove. Right now, all you are doing by saying that all users who speak out against sysops get blocked is only inciting conflict and spreading rumours (as this is far from the case). If you do not wish to get blocked, kindly follow our policies, thanks. C.ChiamTalk 13:17, May 20, 2010 (UTC)
"As for respecting other editors: No thanks, I prefer remaining suspicious of other users especially 'sysops'"- I see no connection between being suspicious and calling someone stupid. Respect is necessary for the wiki to function, so a friendly tip-try to get some. HaloTalk 12:35, May 20, 2010 (UTC)
- I see above that Caleb gave you a link to the User treatment policy. To be as fair as possible, I am taking a moment to let you know that whether you read it or not, or understand it or not, it is everyones responsibility to follow it at all times. It is intended to help us maintain a courteous and helpful frienldly place to edit. That is the environment we are trying to maintain. Disruption to that will not be accepted. So reading that will be doing yourself a favor. You do not have to like anyone, you do not have to trust anyone. But you DO have to be courteous. On your talk page, on others talk pages, and in your edit summaries. Happy editing.--Degenret01 12:57, May 20, 2010 (UTC)
