Fire Runes[edit source]

Hi there! I've undone your fire runecrafting edits on the Zodi-yak Track free-to-play tasks page. I can't replicate your results of them working. Could you message me back with some information regarding your account (rc level, membership status, anything else that might affect this)? I'd love to work out how you got it to work. Meanwhile I've asked several clan members (I'm part of a pure f2p clan) to retry fire runes on their next rc task as well. I'll probably get their results back within an hour or two. If this has been hotfixed I apologize for my undos. At that point I believe it would be most appropriate to delete the notes added to Runecrafting tasks entirely, as there's no need to clarify it works as you'd expect it to. Naruto 1001 (talk) 06:21, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

Edit: I got the confirmation from a clan member sooner than I thought. It still doesn't work for them. Naruto 1001 (talk) 06:24, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

Reply: Me and various others confirmed that Fire runes made at an altar with level 99 Runecrafting do not work towards the task. This is why the page originally said it only worked with Body. However, some attempted Runespan and it did work, thus a change was made. This information is entirely based on multiple maxed player reports. I'm sure your findings are correct, however the table states: "Note that the following table uses requirements (both the amount, and item required) as based on a maxed player. For non-maxed, and further item details, see the requirements section below.". Your findings belong in the Requirements section. Naruto 1001 (talk) 18:15, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

RE: Excavation hotspots[edit source]

Sounds good. In regards to the artefact rarity, I'd add the |Raritynotes= parameter having the following content: <ref group="d" name="art">One damaged artefact is received each time the excavation progress bar is completely filled, with an equal chance of receiving each.</ref> to the first artefact in the list and subsequent artefacts should get the following: |Raritynotes=<ref group="d" name="art"/>. As for the rarity itself, I wouldn't add "Special", but rather "Common" as well as the raritynote explains how it is dropped. Mod Rowley said on discord, here, that "when you get one artefact, you are half as likely to get it again as your next one (halves each time in a row you get it) - that is tracked for your previous three artefacts". I'm not yet sure how to succinctly word this and still have it be clear, but the chance isn't always equal. ɳex undique 16:38, 7 April 2020 (UTC)

To-do list[edit source]

Hey, I just noticed you have the Dragonhide page on your to-do list. I've actually just brought the page up to date so you can strike it off your list :) Lava hawk.png BlackHawk (Talk)    19:11, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

Green Gobbo Goodies I edit[edit source]

Hey! I noticed you reverted my changes to the Green Gobbo Goodies I collection reward. I've turned in the collection 5 times and have received 6,504 chronotes each time. I edited this in because the recurring reward displayed only 3200 something. Seth boi Archaeology.png 17:53, 2 June 2020 (UTC)

edit: Read your response on my talk page, thank you for the clarification! Seth boi Archaeology.png 18:23, 2 June 2020 (UTC)

Wanted pages[edit source]

There is Category:Not transcribable - I've added a note on the OSWF task about adding it to pages which don't need transcripts. Magic logs detail.pngIsobelJTalk page 18:57, 18 June 2020 (UTC)

Scenery license and wanted pages[edit source]

Hey! I saw you were fixing some scenery licenses to get rid of wanted pages, thanks for the help! Just a note however, on files like File:Apmeken statue.png, even though the page it linked to was a wanted page, it shouldn't be changed to something else just because the page doesn't exist yet. The subject of that file isn't Apmeken in general, it's of scenery (probably) called "Statue". That's a valid wanted page and that page should instead be created instead of having the subject changed to an already-existing page (but the name of the article would probably be "Statute (Apmeken)" and not "Apmeken statue.") Though, it isn't high on a list of priorities since it's just a general statute which is why it's never been created. Same with File:Globe of Gielinor.png, the subject of the file is scenery called "Globe", not scenery called "Gielinor" (I assume, I haven't double-checked). In cases like these, I was thinking of making it possible to not have the scenery license link to pages if the user doesn't want them to, but haven't gotten around to trying. Thanks again for the help! ɳex undique 02:37, 19 June 2020 (UTC)

Money making guide: Harvesting incandescent energy[edit source]

Eyy mate. I glanced on your profile and saw that you said you wanted to "get around" to revising this money making guide, which is something that has coincidentally been on my to-do list. Would you like to collect data for this together and update the guide? Seth boi Archaeology.png 03:13, 20 June 2020 (UTC)

edit: Sounds good then. I'm going to be revising incandescent rates with the archaeology relics, cape, and HoM buffs. You can feel free to take my results and make them.. well, readable ahaha. I'll have them sometime in a week or so and I'll send it to you. Seth boi Archaeology.png 03:46, 20 June 2020 (UTC)

OSWF: Archaeology Data Collection[edit source]

For the One Small Wiki Favour, under the Archaeology Data collection, I just wanted to confirm that, while gathering this data, you weren't under the timesprite boost. It's something I forgot to mention before in the instructions. Let me know. Seth boi Archaeology.png 22:48, 29 June 2020 (UTC)

Okay, thank you! Appreciate the effort. Seth boi Archaeology.png 23:12, 29 June 2020 (UTC)

Menaphite thug capitalisation[edit source]

Hi, I undid you undo of my edit, following this rule from the RuneScape:Style guide: "Item and monster names almost always begin with a capital letter in-game. In prose, this can and usually should be made lowercase (including in links) if the word is not a proper noun." The Wiki often uses different capitalisation because in-game is inconsistent and not often guided by clear rules.
