Image merge[edit source]

Hi, the file you uploaded has been merged to File:Smoke Dungeon.png. Next time, if you are replacing an outdated image with a newer version, please click on the image on the page and then on the magnifying glass in the bottom right corner to go to the File: page, then click on the "Upload a new version" of this link towards the bottom of that page. Thank you, Small recharge gem.png AnselaJonla Slayer-icon.png 07:20, June 18, 2012 (UTC)

I removed your image from the page for two reasons. The first is that I was going to merge it with the existing image, as yours has better graphics. The second was that somehow your edit ended up breaking some of the coding on the page, and it was quicker to undo it than try and figure out what you'd done. I'm not too good with them myself, but there's instructions at RS:SIG. Small recharge gem.png AnselaJonla Slayer-icon.png 07:32, June 18, 2012 (UTC)

Personal Image[edit source]

InformationHello. An image that you have uploaded appears to be personal. Personal files should not be hosted on the RuneScape Wiki (see RS:NOT#HOST). If you want to add a picture of your RuneScape character, or any other media that doesn't fit in an article, you may upload it on an image hosting site, such as Photobucket, ImageShack, or Imgur. If you need more details feel free to ask any question you have on my talk page. Small recharge gem.png AnselaJonla Slayer-icon.png 20:52, June 20, 2012 (UTC)

You can't actually delete images yourself. Only admins and 'crats, can do that.
To get the large, high-quality images you need someone wearing the gear and another person wielding an orb of oculus, which they then can zoom in with. They need to have 4 x anti-aliasing active in game, as high-screen resolution as they can, no scenery decoration, no lighting detail and no shadows.
Unless it's a cape, of course, and then the person wearing the cape can also wield the orb of oculus themselves, as you won't be seeing their front side.
Also, could you please follow the instructions on RS:SIG#Setting_up_your_signature to set your signature up properly? Small recharge gem.png AnselaJonla Slayer-icon.png 21:15, June 20, 2012 (UTC)
Firstly, create a template at "Template:Signatures/Miss Nomer". You can do this through Special:CreatePage. After that take the code you have for your signature
<span style="background-color: #ffffff; border:2px outset #dddddd;"> Miss Nomer (talk) </span>
and paste it into there. Add <noinclude></noinclude> to what you pasted into that page without and spaces between the last letter of your sig code and the <noinclude> tag. After that go to Special:Preferences and paste this into the box labelled 'signature' (or something like that)

remembering to tick the box saying you want to use a custom signature. Hope this helps cqm 11:21,21/6/2012 (UTC) (UTC)

Userpage personalisation[edit source]

The code I use for my talk page is

This is essentially how I make most boxes, although you would usually close the box with a |} As talk pages are continuously added to, this is counter-productive as new message would then always be below the closing of the box. It is CSS code, so any attribute you might use for CSS can be used here.

Everything in the "...." is what controls the variables in the box.

 • background is what changes the background colour
 • border changes the width, style and colour of the border. Here it is 2px (border width), solid (border style) and #000000 (border colour). The colour code is that for black, but I just prefer to use hex codes rather than colour names.
 • border-radius is part of a template, but is what controls the curving of the corners. 1em is a small amount of curve, 2+ would increase the radius around which the curve is created.
 • width and height are just there for my comfort. You can use % or px, the max px for the default wiki skin being around 664px (I think).
 • color controls the colour of the text (it doesn't affect page links).
 • CSS3 is another template. I use it to add a shadow to the outline of the box, but it has other uses too.

Let me know if you have any more questions. cqm 23:19,21/6/2012 (UTC) (UTC)

Deleting discussions[edit source]

Information Hello Miss Nomer, please do not delete discussions as we have a policy against it. If you would like to remove a discussion, then you may archive it. To archive a talk page, simply create a subpage titled Talk:Pagename/archive 1, or User talk:Miss Nomer/archive 1 if it is your talkpage, and be sure to include a link to the archive on the talk page you archived. re:More userpage questions[edit source]

Yeah its possible (see my welcome template) but the problem is that the picture wouldn't fill the entire page. What most people do in this situation is similar to Fergie's talk page, use a picture as a header. Fergie uses photoshop for all her fancy stuff, and imagemaps the links in, similar to how there are links on some of our maps. Alternatively, you could do what I've done on my userpage, but that's as equally complicated as my welcome template. cqm 11:30,6/7/2012 (UTC) (UTC)
